School Counseling Program

Mission Statement

The 成人AV视频 School Counseling program prepares highly impactful professional school counselor leaders who advocate and promote the development and educational opportunities of students in all school communities within the context of the American School Counselor Association’s National Model and Council for Accreditation and Related Educational Program (CACREP) 2024 standards.

The 成人AV视频 School Counseling program is fully accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). 

The 成人AV视频 school Counseling program is also accredited by the state of Florida and each graduate of the program will have fulfilled the educational requirements for Florida certification as school counselors and the 成人AV视频 is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters and doctorate degrees.

  • A 60-credit Master of Education degree in Counselor Education for all degree completers

Admissions

There are two steps for applying to the School Counseling Program. The first step is to complete an application through the Graduate School. This requires the submission of all transcripts, a current resume, a letter describing your interest in the program and the school counseling profession, and three professional references.

The second application step occurs following the completion of your graduate application through the 成人AV视频 Graduate School. If your application meets the general 成人AV视频 Graduate School admissions criteria, the School Counseling Program Director, Dr. Chris Janson (c.janson@unf.edu), will contact you to schedule an interview with program faculty members.
