Professional Development Schools' Teacher Fellowship

CRITERIA: 

  • Be admitted to the Silverfield College of Education and Human Services as an graduate student.
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes.
  • Enroll to receive a graduate degree in SCOEHS Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum department with a minimum of three credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Preference given to teachers at KIPP and Tiger Academy charter schools.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Comply with all University regulations, rules and codes of conduct governing students on campus.
  • Consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor.
  • Remain in good standing as a student with the University.

RENEWAL:

  • Current recipients may apply for renewal and will be given preference pending availability of funding, and if all of the preceding requirements have been met.
  • No student will be eligible to receive more than six semesters of fellowship support.
