The award honors faculty members who demonstrate a commitment to innovative, effective, and compassionate doctoral advising and mentoring.
The award will be formally presented later this semester at the SCOEHS Spring Awards Convocation. Established in memory of Dr. Katherine M. Dr. Kasten joined 成人AV视频 in 1988 and served as dean of the College of Education and Human Services from 1995 until 2004.
Dr. Parkinson joined the doctoral teaching faculty in 2020, bringing a strong passion for research and mentorship. She has taught Foundations of Research in Education and Learning and Instruction Across the Lifespan, chaired or co-chaired four dissertation committees, and served as a methodologist or committee member on three others.
