Swoop Troupe Theatre Theme Community
The Swoop Troupe Theatre Community is residential theme community housing option at the 成人AV视频, integrated with the 成人AV视频 Swoop Troupe Theatre Club, to foster a living environment for students who have passion for theatre and are looking for others that share it. This community is a way to not only foster community and build relationships with those who share a passion for theatre, but is also a way to get connected with the Jacksonville theatre and performing arts community and support member’s own ambitions in these arts. The Swoop Troupe Theatre Community commits to creating an environment that supports growth, learning, and mutual respect, in a setting intended to be free from all forms of discrimination, and fosters a sense of community that relies on the active engagement of its members.
Eligibility & Course Requirements
- Complete the Housing Contract & LLC and Interest Housing Application.
- Live in the designated Service and Leadership Theme Community building and floor.
- Plan, support and/or attend Swoop Troupe Theme community events and programs.
- Committing to participate in Swoop Troupe Theatre Club (or maintain membership, if upperclassman)
What You Will Experience:
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with fellow students, faculty, and local theatre professionals to create and participate in theatre productions and events.
- Skill Development: Enhance your performance skills in acting, dancing, and singing, and gain experience in technical aspects such as lighting, sound, and set design.
- Professional Practice: Learn and practice the professional process of auditioning, improvisation, and understanding fundamentals of sheet music and choreography.
- Cultural Exposure: Experience Jacksonville-area theatre and performing arts productions, broadening your understanding and appreciation of the arts.
- Personal Growth: Develop essential competencies like time management and teamwork, and access vital university resources to support your academic and personal success.
