CURRENT RESIDENTS: Housing Information for 2025/2026

This group is comprised of current ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ students living on campus Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025.

Housing and Residence Life wants YOU to continue living with us in 2025/2026! It’s an exciting time on campus as we grow and prepare for a bright future!

NEW for 2025/2026 is the addition of a new residential community for Honors students and, based on availability, any ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ student!  More information about this new addition to campus is coming soon!

Current residents have an initial priority to upper-class housing space in Osprey Fountains, Osprey Village, The Flats at ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ and a portion of the new residential community.

Any CURRENT RESIDENT who has a desire to live on-campus for the 2025/2026 academic year should submit their housing contract as soon as possible, but no later than MARCH 1, 2025.

Please note, the timeline for CURRENT RESIDENTS to take advantage of the initial priority is very tight! On December 2, 2024 the opportunity to submit a housing contract will expand to all other students not currently living on campus.

Any CURRENT RESIDENT living in Osprey Fountains, Osprey Village and The Flats at ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ who fully submits the 2025/2026 Housing Contract prior to January 20, 2025 will be pre-assigned by Housing and Residence Life to their same bedspace for 2025/2026. Please note, not all bed spaces will be eligible to be preassigned as there will be spaces identified for use by the department to include, but not limited to, medical/disability accommodations, Living-Learning Communities and department student staffing needs.  Housing and Residence Life reserves the right to make all determinations as to what space will be eligible to be preassigned or not.  If a student is preassigned to one of these communities, the student will have the opportunity to keep or alter their preassigned space during the online room selection process.  Students that have been preassigned will be notified of their assignment status via e-mail prior to the online room selection process beginning.

Any CURRENT RESIDENT living in Osprey Fountains, Osprey Village and The Flats at ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ who fully submits the 2025/2026 Housing Contract BUT DOES NOT WANT TO BE PRE-ASSIGNED to their same bedspace for 2025/2026, please complete the following on-line form:

The process to ultimately receive a bed assignment is a multiple step process and requires students to take specific required actions.

Follow the steps below:

STEP 1 (Required) - Fully submit the 2025/2026 Housing Contract in as early as possible

Students submitting their first housing contract will be required to submit a one-time non-refundable $100.00 processing fee to fully submit their housing contract

The earlier a student fully completes all steps of the housing contract submission process in myHousing, the higher priority the student has to participate in on-line room selection process.

STEP 2 (Optional) – Following submission of the 2025/2026 Housing Contract in myHousing, complete the Living-Learning Community application

Please note: Once a student fully completes the Housing Contract, including payment of the $100.00 processing fee (if applicable), the student can refresh their browser and submit an Living-Learning Community application

For information on Living-Learning Communities please visit Living-Learning Community webpage.

STEP 3 (Required) – Fully participate in the on-line room selection process to select a bed space.

Please note:
A student failing to participate in a scheduled on-line room selection processes lowers the student’s overall priority to be assigned to a bedspace. Additionally, failure to participate in a scheduled on-line room selection processes does not release a student from the housing contract terms and conditions.

On-line Room Selection Process:                               Begins March 3, 2025

More details will be released February 2025

STEP 4 (Required): - Schedule a move-in appointment via myHousing.

Preparing for Room Selection

Between now and February 2025, Current Residents with a completed housing contract will need to ensure they have read and completed the following, as applicable:

  1. Ensure ALL roommate preferences within myHousing are up to date.
  2. Search AND mutually accept your desired roommate(s) in myHousing. Please note the following:
    1. Both you AND your desired roommate(s) must be in the same Roommate Group to be considered as a mutual request.
    2. It is important to be pro-active in accepting or declining roommates within myHousing to prevent any issues during the Room Selection process.
    3. Some rooms/apartments/suites and/or individual bed spaces may not be available for assignment during the room selection process due to Living-Learning Communities, Theme Housing, ADA needs, etc. Housing and Residence Life will communicate directly with students impacted by their space being unavailable prior to the on-line room selection process.
