The Office of Human Resources (HR) supports the mission and goals of the University by providing leadership that assures efficient and effective management of the University’s human resources and positively addresses the quality of life for all University employees.

Human Resources Assistance

Our front desk can assist with the following by either stopping by our office or scheduling an appointment.

  • Group I-9 Onboarding Processing
  • Individual I-9 New Hire/Reverification
  • Immigration Services
  • Notary Services
  • Public Student Loan Forgiveness Form

 

You can schedule a virtual or in-person appointment with one of our Benefit Team Specialists for any of the following: 

  • New Hire Health Benefits Enrollment 
  • New Hire Retirement Enrollment
  • Any Health Benefit and/or Retirement Question 
  • Ready to Retire? 

 

If you need assistance with one of the HR functional areas, please submit a Service Now Ticket.

To meet (virtually or in-person) with a specific HR staff member or functional area (e.g., Class and Comp), please reach out to them directly, submit a service now ticket or contact hr@unf.edu.

Nature of the Visit Operating Procedures
Paperwork Drop Off Electronic or in person delivery. If electronic, email to hr@unf.edu or directly to the HR staff member's email address. If in person after business hours, use drop box located outside of the office suite door.
Walk-ins/ Payroll Processing Accepting appointments and walk-ins. Maximum of two guests per timeslot.
New Employee Orientation Conducted in-person. Please contact an employment coordinator for more information about orientation.

The Office of Human Resources is established to support the mission and goals of the University by providing leadership which assures efficient and effective management of the University’s human resources and positively addresses the quality of life for all University employees.

The Office of Human Resources is responsible for directing the functions of employee recruitment and selection, job classification and analysis, leave, compensation, organizational development, employee benefits and retirement, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, employee relations and the administration of collective bargaining contracts.

The Office of Human Resources institutes training and staff development programs for employees by working collaboratively with the Center for Professional Development and Training.
