Purpose

The purpose of the award is to provide scholarship funding for ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ students.

Selection Criteria

1. Students eligible for the scholarship awards must:
   1. meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ,
   2. reside in Florida for tuition purposes,
   3. earn a minimum ³ÉÈËAVÊÓƵ GPA of at least 3.0,
   4. declare a major in Biology,
   5. complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and
   6. demonstrate financial need as defined by the University's Office of Financial Aid.
2. Students selected for this scholarship award must also agree to:
   1. enroll full-time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year,
   2. maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 for the junior and senior years,
   3. comply with all University regulations, rules, codes of conduct governing students on campus,
   4. consent to release grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Affairs for the purpose of reporting to the Donors,
   5. remain in good standing as a student, and
   6. file FAFSA form with the federal government each year.
