Videos of 成人AV视频 ASL/Deaf studies instructor and granddaughter go viral

Michael Stultz and his granddaughterMichael Stultz, associate instructor of ASL/Deaf studies at the 成人AV视频, has become a social media sensation due to the endearing videos posted by his daughter Mara, highlighting their family interactions and her experience as a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA).

“Looking back on the videos is like a sweet memory,” said Stultz. “It’s like an album to look back on years later. I am happy to share the everyday life of deaf people and provide the education and knowledge with everyone.”

One of the most popular videos posted, with over 4 million views, is of . Throughout the video, she brightly smiles and fixates her attention on Stultz’s moving hands as he asks her questions and describes their surroundings.

Stultz reported being both surprised and not by the videos' viral response.

“People are very interested in ASL,” said Stultz. “Movies like CODA have shown a light on the deaf community, and the awareness has grown exponentially.”

Other clips include heartwarming moments between the granddaughter and her deaf grandparents making homemade pizza, reading books and singing lullabies, as well as exploring the beach and meeting unique animals. In some videos, she appears to be ‘babbling’ in ASL. Mara also posts videos teaching the infant (and viewers) simple ASL terms and showcasing family interactions.

“The first sign, whether mom, dad or milk, can lessen the barriers and frustration of infant communication,” Stultz said. “It doesn’t matter if the baby is hearing or not, exposure is what’s important, and research has shown that. I encourage parents and grandparents to teach their babies ASL, so they can grow and communicate.”
